Why "Tyndale's Ploughboy?"
William Tyndale was the first person to translate and print the New Testament in English.
His motivation was clear; he once said to a priest:
"If God spare my life, ere many years I will cause a boy who drives a plough to know more of the scriptures than you do."
For this, he was killed.
Today we have many versions of the Bible, but very few ploughboys reading them;
we mostly rely on ministers to tell us what to think, rather than learning more for ourselves.
This site exists to tell you what a ploughboy can find out, but most ministers could never know.
It came into being to provide background for a novel, "The Queen of the Seventh Age".
The book explains new insights into Revelation chapters 2 and 3,
revealing the truth about the church of our times in more detail than ever before.
